The university’s digital ecosystem as an environment for the development of the modern educational process
(International Scientific Unity, 2026-03-18) Pokorny, Natalia; Покорни, Наталія Сергіївна
The concept of an ecosystem is not new in the academic environment. In scientific research on innovative organizations, it is viewed as a model of interaction between various participants, services, and institutional mechanisms that form a common environment for value creation and the development of innovative processes. Digital technologies, in turn, contribute to strengthening the links between participants in such interaction and the formation of integrated digital environments within which data, knowledge, and services are exchanged.

Digital platforms for managing financial flows and student motivation in the higher education system
(Волинський національний університет імені Лесі Українки, 2026-03-29) Bobro, Natalia; Бобро, Наталія Сергіївна
Introduction. Research into digital platforms for managing financial flows and student motivation in the higher education system is an important task for modern economic science, considering the deepening digital transformation of universities, the growing role of human capital, the spread of blended learning formats, and increasing demands for transparency and efficient use of resources. In such conditions, the digital student account and integrated payment and motivation modules cease to be auxiliary services and become institutional tools that influence payment discipline, revenue structure, transaction costs, and behavioral parameters of educational activity. Aim. The aim of the article is to provide a comprehensive economic analysis of digital platforms as tools for managing financial flows and student motivation in the higher education system, as well as to identify the key determinants of their effectiveness using the example of the integrated EUni student account solution in web and mobile formats. Methods. The methodological basis of the research is the theoretical provisions of the digital transformation economy and the platform economy, as well as scientific approaches to assessing operational efficiency and transaction costs. To solve the research problems, conceptual and logical analysis, systems and interdisciplinary approaches were used, which made it possible to combine the economic interpretation of financial processes with the behavioral aspects of student motivation in a digital environment. Functional and structural analysis of the payment and motivation modules of the student account was applied, as well as elements of institutional analysis to substantiate the role of standardization of procedures, transparency of transactions, and rules of the internal bonus system. Results. As a result of the study, the economic role of the platform approach in higher education was substantiated as a mechanism for improving the manageability of financial flows and forming behavioral incentives for students within a unified digital environment. It was determined that the key determinants of effectiveness are the standardization of payment procedures and digital accounting of obligations, transparency of transactions and control of payment statuses, integration of financial services with motivational mechanisms, as well as the formation of internal digital economies based on bonus currency and an internal store. It has been shown that the integration of online payment and gamification modules in the EUni student account creates organizational and economic prerequisites for reducing administrative costs, improving payment discipline, and enhancing student engagement. Conclusions. Revealing the economic determinants of the effectiveness of digital platforms for managing financial flows and student motivation allows us to specify the requirements for the university’s platform architecture, clarify the mechanisms of influence of integrated payment and motivation modules on operational efficiency and behavioral parameters of educational activity, and outline directions for further verification of the effects of internal digital economies and the sustainability of incentives in the long term

Pedagogical foundations for the formation of a student’s virtual identity in the educational environment of a digital university
(2025-12-31) Bobro, Natalia; Бобро, Наталія Сергіївна
The article is devoted to a comprehensive theoretical and analytical study of the pedagogical foundations for the formation of a student’s virtual identity in the educational environment of a digital university. The relevance of the topic is determined by the profound transformational processes in higher education associated with the spread of digital platforms, automated services, and virtual educational environments, which are changing the nature of student participation in the learning process and the ways in which they interact with the university environment. Under these conditions, educational interaction increasingly takes place in virtual space, where digital tools perform the functions not only of a technical intermediary but also of a factor of pedagogical influence. This highlights the need to rethink the role of a student as an active participant in the educational process in a digital environment and to define the conditions for forming their sustained educational presence. Under these conditions, virtual identity emerges as a sustainable form of a student’s educational presence, which is formed through systematic interaction with digital tools for learning, communication, and management of learning engagement. The aim of the article is to provide a theoretical justification for the pedagogical mechanisms for the formation of a student’s virtual identity and to analyze the practical experience of implementing an integrated virtual educational environment within the university structure. The methodological basis of the study consists of methods of theoretical analysis, systematization, and generalization of scientific approaches to the digitalization of education, as well as an analysis of the practical results of the pilot implementation of a digital educational platform. The article describes the key functional components of the virtual educational environment, in particular, mechanisms of authentication and academic identification, tools for organizing schedules and tracking learning engagement, gamified motivational elements, digital student identifiers, and personalization and institutional communication services. It has been shown that the coordinated functioning of these components ensures the integrity of the educational environment and influences the nature of student engagement in learning activities. It is substantiated that the integration of these components contributes to increasing student engagement, supports the continuity of educational interaction, and creates conditions for the formation of a conscious and stable virtual identity. The practical experience of the pilot implementation of the EUni student account in 2025 confirmed the feasibility of the comprehensive use of digital tools as components of a holistic educational environment. The prospects for further development of digital university models related to the expansion of automated educational and management processes are outlined.

Organization of financial processes in the digital support system for university admission
(Наукові перспективи, 2026-04-21) Pokorny, Natalia; Покорни, Наталія Сергіївна
The article provides a systematic study of digital support for the admission campaign using the example of the EUni platform developed and implemented at the Private Higher Education Institution “European University” in the 2025/2026 academic year. It examines the conceptual foundations for creating a unified digital ecosystem that covers all key stages of interaction with applicants: authentication, registration, selection of an educational program, submission of documents, passing entrance examinations, concluding a contract, making payments, and completing the enrollment process. The functional architecture of the EUni platform is revealed, which is built as a set of specialized modules covering all key stages of the admission process: applicant’s account, educational programs, documents, entrance examinations, contracts, payment, rating and enrollment, analytics and service support, in a unifieddigital environment with end-to-end interaction logic. The study pays particular attention to analyzing the functionality of the “Tuition Payment” module as one of the important elements of an applicant’s educational trajectory. The article proves that this module not only performs the technical role of recording the fact of payment, but is also the final link in the digital interaction between the applicant and the university, which affects the timeliness and completeness of the enrollment process. The components of the module are detailed, covering the dynamic display of the current amount to be paid, taking into account the chosen form of study and the parameters of the contract, mechanisms for monitoring the status of payment, the functions of uploadingreceipts and maintaining a complete history of payment transactions with the recording of the date, amount, and confirmation of the transaction. Options for payment confirmation are analyzed: through integrated payment services or by downloading confirmation from the bank, and the prospects for full integration with banking platforms are substantiated in order to minimize risks and time costs.Based on statistical data from the 2025/2026 academic year admission campaign, a quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of the digital support model was carried out. It was found that out of 3,147 registered applicants, over 91% gained access to the financial module, and over 94% of users who formed a contract made a confirmed payment. Of these, 87.5% were successfully enrolled. These data indicate a high conversion rate and completion of the admission process in the digital environment. The role of analytics tools in optimizing internal university procedures was analyzed separately, particularly in the context of real-time monitoring of payment statuses, identifying problem areas, and establishing cooperation between departments: the admissions committee, the finance department, and technical support. It has been shown that the digital payment module creates prerequisites for predictable planning of the revenue side of the budget, reduction of cash flow gaps, and enhancement of transparency and trust in the university.
