D.; Blumenau, N. F.The aim of the research is to investigate implicit and explicit attitudes towards hardiness and its components in occupational groups, associated with risk. Participants: 214. Profession was associated with the unconditional execution of orders ‘soldiers’ in peaceful time: 74 males aged from 21 to 50, Mdn = 29 years old. 75 security guards in the hospitals, 61 males and 14 females aged from 22 to 64, Mdn = 45 years old. 40 long-distance lorry drivers, males aged from 26 to 55, Mdn = 38 years old. 25 professional footballers from a top football league team aged from 19 to 25 Mdn = 21 years old. Measurements: methodologically balanced procedures of implicit association tests (IAT): IAT1-Commitment, IAT2-Control, IAT3-Challenge, IAT4-Hardiness, explicit procedure: "Dispositional Resilience Scale, DRS-15" (Bartone-1995). It was found that the majority of ‘soldiers’ have negative implicit attitude towards commitment, the majority of guards as well as the majority of drivers have negative implicit attitude towards challenge, but these attitudes are specific in each of groups. Understanding these implicit attitudes is critical for leadership to address potential problems of personnel. Interventions may include increasing role clarity, providing career development opportunities, and fostering a supportive culture that values the contributions of personnel in different occupational groups.
