Анотація
This article analyzes scientific materials and works related to determining the economic fea- sibility of production automation. Topics that still need research are indicated. The main stages of production automation, risks, threats and promising directions of development are analyzed. The main advantages of automated production over traditional production are considered. Char- acteristics for determining the form and categorization of automation methods are described. The existing experience of using automated systems at enterprises and the current state of the robot- ics market were studied. The most popular productions and directions of production automation have been determined. The trend of growth in the number of robotics on the market, as well as the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on it, is described. An assessment of the impact of automation on the number of jobs at factories and possible threats of unemployment growth was carried out. It has been determined which robotics is the most popular, which allows us to conclude in which areas active automation is carried out. A study of the cost of implementing robotics was conducted and changes in its cost with the improvement of technology were analyzed. Estimated spread of the phenomenon of production automation in Ukraine. A comparison of the maintenance costs of automated and traditional production was made. It was determined that the automation process requires the need for significant investments, in contrast to the automated production itself, which is cheaper than the traditional one. Formulas are given that allow you to evaluate the effectiveness of investments in the automation of a certain production. The parameters affecting the feasibility of modernization of enterprises using automated systems are defined. An application such as a profitability calculator is recommended, which can help evaluate the feasibility of automating a certain production. Conclusions were made regarding the economic efficiency and feasibility of modernization of enterprises using automated systems based on the received data and conducted research.
