In the context of globalization and the formation of a digital society, there is a radical transformation of not only the mechanisms of knowledge transmission, but also the paradigmatic foundations of education, the socio-cultural requirements for it, and the models of the subjectivity of its participants. This process is a natural stage in the evolution of knowledge that requires a comprehensive rethinking. In this context, the concept of a digital university as a new type of educational space that combines the functions of generating, preserving, and transmitting knowledge with the mission of forming a critically thinking, value-oriented, and socially responsible personality is of particular importance. Such a university not only adapts to the digital logic of culture, but also plays an active role in its humanitarian transformation, creating conditions for intellectual dialogue, ethical interaction, and sustainable development. The essence of the digital competitiveness of educational institutions is analyzed, the key factors that ensure the effective integration of digital technologies into educational, scientific, and innovative activities are highlighted. The main directions of influence of digital universities on the innovative development of enterprises are outlined: generation of new knowledge, formation of personnel potential, development of innovative culture, incubation of startups, and establishment of communications with the business environment. The specifics of transformation processes in universities within the “triple helix” model of education-business-state are considered. The results obtained can be used to improve the efficiency of interaction between universities and enterprises and the formation of sustainable educational and business ecosystems in the digital age.Документ Digital technologies in education as a factor of economic development(Baltija Publishing, 2025-03-14) Бобро, Наталія СергіївнаThe article explores the role of digital technologies in education as a factor of economic development, focusing on the concept of digital maturity as a key criterion for assessing the level of digital transformation of the education sector. Introduction of pervasive technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data, virtual and augmented reality, as well as digital avatars in higher education institutions is analysed. Particular attention is paid to the economic effects of digitalisation, in particular, optimisation of educational management, increasing the accessibility and efficiency of educational services. The digital avatar technology as an innovative tool for structuring and optimising educational processes is studied. Its potential for improving management decisions, personalising learning and adapting educational institutions to rapid technological change is considered. The paper analyses international models and methodologies for assessing the digital maturity of education, and substantiates the need to develop specialised approaches that take into account the unique social and economic characteristics of the educational system. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of digital education as a driving force for economic modernisation, emphasising the role of higher education institutions in shaping innovation potential and training competitive personnel. The publication proves that the successful digital transformation of education will determine not only the competitiveness of universities, but also their ability to achieve long-term economic and social development in the context of Industry 4.0 and 5.0.Документ Розділ. У реаліях сьогодення: воєнного стану України, ракетної небезпеки або артилерійських обстрілів з боку Російської Федерації лише бомбосховище, метро, підвал або найпростіше укриття – це синонім безпеки. Міністр освіти і науки України Сергій Шкарлет неодноразово наголошував, що сьогодні головне завдання Міністерства освіти і науки України – це продемонструвати батькам дітей, що заклади освіти є місцем безпеки. Загалом питання безпеки освітнього процесу не є новим для цивілізованого суспільства, проте особливої актуальності воно набуває, коли країна або частина її регіону потрапляє в зону воєнного конфлікту, агресії або окупації. Варто відмітити і міжнародний досвід з досліджуваного питання, а саме ухвалену резолюцію Ради Безпеки ООН від 29 жовтня 2021 2601 (2021), яка рішуче засуджує усі напади на школи, дітей та вчителів. Разом з тим, Кабінет Міністрів України прийняв розпорядження від 07 квітня 2023 року № 301-р «Про схвалення Концепції безпеки закладів освіти», яка представляє комплексне стратегічне бачення створення безпечного освітнього середовища у всіх закладах освіти та організацію в них рівних, належних і безпечних умов здобуття освіти та викладання. The main challenge is the need for universities to transform in response to modern labor market demands and to boost their capacity for innovation. Key issues are identified, notably the limited integration of innovations across various sectors and the absence of effective mechanisms for university startup development. The article proposes creating digital platforms to foster productive collaboration among universities, businesses, and the state, thereby enabling universities to advance innovative projects to high levels of technological readiness.
